Celebrate Cinco de Mayo (or any day, really) with the Mex. Izzy’s famous corned beef, topped with jalapenos, sweet yellow onions, melted Swiss and Izzy’s special chipotle sauce on rye toast. You know how I feel about onions, but these sweet yellow onions only add to the flavor. This sandwich will wake you up, but the heat is not overpowering. I wouldn’t think to top the corned beef with onion or jalapeno, but the flavor combination of the ingredients on the Mex is outstanding.
